Mission & Objectives
The rapid and ever-changing growth of the specialty pharmacy industry presents a multitude of challenges and opportunities for the overall healthcare industry. sPCMA provides leadership, and representation to the specialty pharmacy industry on matters of public policy, communications, and the promotion of the value specialty pharmacies deliver to the healthcare delivery system. sPCMA will promote the general welfare of the specialty pharmacy industry by:
- Defining and promote the value of specialty pharmacy;
- Serving as an industry body to discus and advise PCMA on emerging policy issues affecting the industry;
- Serving as a public voice on matters related to specialty pharmacy;
- Provide a forum for members to engage opinion leaders, policy makers, and other authorities.

The formation and launch of the specialty pharmacy industry’s premier industry conference is one of the sPCMA Board of Director’s top priorities. The Board has been instrumental in developing the concept, format and promotion of the event. On April 2, 2012 the first annual Specialty Pharmacy Business Forum was held in Las Vegas. The 2013 SPBF will return to Las Vegas.
