BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Renwyck (Ren) Elder

President, WellPoint PBM

Ren is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing and
controlling all functions and activities of WellPoint Pharmacy
Management, Pharmacy Benefit Manager, including clinical and
network management, pharmacy operations and disease
management.

Prior to joining WellPoint Pharmacy Management, Ren was the Senior Vice President,
Pharmacy Network Strategies at AdvancePCS where he had P&L responsibility for a division
providing end-to-end support for all functions required to develop, administer, and manage
retail pharmacy network products and services which represented more than $12 billion in
revenue. Ren also has experience with mergers and integrations, having been responsible
for integrating a number of areas when Advance Paradigm merged with PCS and
AdvancePCS merged with Caremark Rx. Ren spent ten years at AdvancePCS in various
leadership roles including underwriting, proposal development, client analytics and clinical
services. Prior to joining AdvancePCS, Ren was the Senior Manager of Clinical Programs at
Diversified, a division of United Healthcare, and the Director of Pharmacy at Lovelace Health
Plan where he was responsible for all financial, operational, and administrative functions for
13 staff model MCO ambulatory care pharmacies. Ren began his career at Lovelace as a
Chief Pharmacist.

Education
Ren has a BS in Pharmacy and a MBA.
