Brian McCarthy is Vice President, Industry Relations and Operations for the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association. In this capacity he oversees the strategy and implementation of the association’s industry relations activities which include member and affiliate relations, inter-industry programs, conferences and development.
Prior to joining PCMA in 2003, Mr. McCarthy spent nearly ten years in public affairs, marketing, business partnership development, and corporate relations. Mr. McCarthy comes to PCMA from the American Council of Life Insurers where he spearheaded the trade group’s for-profit business development and corporate relations. In addition, Mr. McCarthy has served in senior positions at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Health Insurance Association of America – now America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), and Direct Impact. Mr. McCarthy is a graduate of the University of Delaware.
